The area is approximately 3000 feet in elevation above sea level and easy driving distance to such places as Prescott, Sedona, Flagstaff and of course one of our nations most beautiful natural wonders, The Grand Canyon.
Plenty of shopping is close by at the Anthem Outlets as well as Walmart, Osco's, Walgreens, Safeway and many other amenities.
At this time, Anthem has 2 elementary schools and 1 high school. The 2 elementary schools are Anthem Elementary & Gavilan Peak Elementary. The high schools is Boulder Creek. Link on to these to learn more about them.
Anthem's Community Center has a variety of programs for children of all ages as well as programs for adults. Tennis courts, a full indoor basketball court as well as state of the art work out facilities are available to all residents as it is a part of the homeowner's associations dues. There is also a 3 story rock wall that is just waiting for climbers of all ages. As if this was not enough, the community center's main attraction is the Big Splash Water Park. This feature has water slides and a huge bucket which spills water into the 400,000 gallon pool. The 25 meter lap pool with diving boards, both low & high, sits adjacent to the water park. Here, you can get your scuba diving certification as well as participate in various water exercise programs. Ball fields and a catch & release lake with waterfalls are part of this exclusive community. You will want to ride the Daisy Mountain Railroad Train which circles the park. You must visit Anthem to get the full picture and understand what this beautiful community has to offer!
